SEH is currently searching for a talented Coastal/Marine Engineer to join our team in Florida or Texas!

What you will be doing:

  • Shoreline stabilization
  • Ecosystem restoration
  • Coastal revetment design
  • Navigation and dredging
  • Wind-wave analysis
  • Coastal modeling

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from ABET accredited university
  • 5 - 15 years of coastal engineering or similar experience
  • Coastal modeling experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Ability to mentor and train junior staff
  • Ability to delegate tasks to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to travel for short periods of time
  • Knowledgeable in the design of coastal elements and systems
  • Working knowledge of coastal and environmental processes
  • Experience with CAD design software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from ABET accredited university
  • Federal experience
