We are currently searching for a talented Traffic Engineer to join and grow with our Traffic team!

What you will be doing:

  • Working as a traffic engineer in a team setting under the direct supervision of a project manager.
  • Providing traffic engineering services for a wide variety of both complex and small projects including traffic data collection, traffic design (signing/pavement marking/traffic control), multimodal corridor studies, traffic signal design and operations, traffic impact studies, and freeway studies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in traffic engineering
  • Must have successfully completed or scheduled to complete the EIT exam in the next three months
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Microstation
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc.
  • Must reside in Minnesota or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of zero (0) to four (4) years of previous experience in the Civil Engineering field
  • Previous experience with highway capacity software: Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, or other traffic analysis software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Reside in the Twin Cities with ability to report into the St. Paul office a couple days a week

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $65,000 and $90,000 based on skill set and experience.
