SEH's Highway Design Team keeps their eyes and minds on the road – their solutions impact how we travel across our highways and roadways. You will be part of an award-winning team which designs innovative solutions for traffic and corridor enhancements, and bridge and interchange designs using the latest technology. From the initial stages of the project of surveying and right-a-away acquisition to stakeholder engagement through complex design, environmental work and construction – you’ll find yourself immersed in life-lasting projects that get us where we need to go safely and efficiently

This Opportunity:

• Assist with the construction of small- to medium-sized projects or portions of large-sized projects
• Serve on WISDot projects as a capable and efficient engineer intern under the general direction of Professional Engineers and/or Project Managers assigned to the projects
• Assist in preparing project reports and recommendations for approval by the Professional Engineer or Project Manager

Essential Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage work activities and project responsibilities
• Work effectively in an empowered team environment.
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Maintain good technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior in Engineering program
• Training and/or experience in AutoCAD
